Quiver at the power of the skinny avatar!

As time goes on I'm getting more and more troubled by my avatar. As I mentioned before I've not got any recent pics of myself so I'm using the avatar you see on this page as a profile pic.
The thing that troubles me is how skinny this avatar is and it prompts me to explain myself. Anyone who knows me knows that I aint' that skinny. I know it too but there's nowhere where you can create completely acurate avatar's.
I've got a few pics from my uni days but I'm a little loathe to post them on my facebook page 'cos I was a bit of a chubby biffa for a while. Does that make me vain? Maybe...
Ah well, sod it! I think I'll add them anyway. Image really isn't something I spend any time worrying about.
That was quite cool, I answered my own question.

Oh monday monday.

Monday morning and I'm waiting for the call to go into work. Technically I should still be tucked up in bed asleep but I can't help but not trust my colleagues to remember to wake me. There's no wake up call worse than "Sorry, we should have called you an hour ago but we forgot. Can you come in now?" - No! bugger off!
Mind you, tiredness brings it's own confusions. I was watching News 24 earlier and the icon popped up on the screen saying "press red now". I picked up my remote, pressed the first red button I came to and the TV turned off. Maybe the BBC are telling me I'm watching too much TV...
In any case I'm off to kill some more time before work...Byeee.

David Bailey?

Still in the process of putting my facebook profile together and I've come across a strange problem with adding photo's. Adding photo's to facebook is easy enough, the problem's with thi piccies I want to upload. They...well...don't exist!
It turns out that I'm shit at taking photo's. Not that I take photo's which turn out to be shit but I just don't take my camera out with me. I've not got any decent pictures of myself for a profile either.
So now I'm on a mission to find pictures of certain events from my mates.
Anyway, it's 11:06 and I'm of to work so be thinking of me while you're drinking!

Severe Weather and a web presence to create

Well, we've got yet another severe weather warning of heavy rain and possible flooding. I'm not worried about my house being flooded but it could make getting around a little tough. I know what you're thinking. Typical van driver only concerned with how he gets from one place to another but my heart really does go out to those who have lost property, water and electricity.

One thing you should know. My brain and I are practically seperate beings. I'm always around doing whatever I have to, but my brain pops in from time to time to see what's going on. If it gets bored, it buggers off again leaving me to dribble and grunt...strange really.

For some reason my brain's decided to re-build my web presence not only with this new blog but also a facebook page. I don't really agree with all this as it seems a lot of hard work.
It's not fair really, I've got to be at work at 11:30 tonight and there's little chance my brain will join me 'till 7 in the morning. It's a good thing that my job's pretty brainless.

Starting Over

My old blog ran it's course and has now been put out to pasture (couldn't bring myself to put it down just yet!). You never know, I might be able to keep this one going, I'm a lot more used to my working hours now so usually have a little time to kill.

I would use this first post to tell you a bit about me but even if I were the most interesting guy in the world, a mini autobiography would be pretty dull. It's probably better for you to make your own minds up (that is if anyone ever reads this, i hope they do).

One thing I will tell you is that I'm a white van man (don't pre-judge, I'm no stereotype I promise) who works nights/early mornings so don't be too surprised if I say I'm off to bed in the early afternoon.
